Born in Venezuela, and after spending his early years in Orlando, Florida, He moved to Miami, where he currently lives. Due to persistence and training, he has been able to record with many of the leading artists that come into South Florida. He attributes his success to his educational foundation, While living in Orlando, He enrolled at the distinguished Full Sail Academy and graduated with an associate’s degree in engineering. This training has been invaluable in his career, since a large part of his income comes from work in his home studio, which he dubbed Cuero Productions. His current work encompasses over 1000 recordings and 26 Grammy Award Achievement Certificates. Richard contributed heavily to the Multi-Platinum release of “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira he appeared and recorded the Barry Gibb/Barbara Streisand C/D , John Secada’s Classic, Michael Bolton Gems the Duet Collection, Willie Chirinos My Beatles Heart , Enrique Iglesias Euphoris & Herbie Hancock’s “Duets” CD

Richard’s hard work continues to garner awards as he was awarded three more Latin Grammy’s as the year concluded (Ricky Martin’s “Unplugged” & Latin Legend- Oscar De Leon) and another Grammy nomination under Children’s Music – “ The Great Jaguar Rescue”.
